Hey guys, thank you for visiting our website. We are looking forward to having our wedding on the beautiful campus of Camp Walter Johnson. It is well over a 300 acre campus with a pond, lake access, ropes course, cafeteria, chapel, lodges, camp fire circle and so much more. Our wedding and reception will be happening in the cafeteria on campus. The wedding will begin at 5PM, with a reception to directly follow on location. We will have a way to mark it so that it will be easy to find for anyone attending. The future Modlins want to share just a few items about our wedding.
Gifts—We’re asking that you do not get us gifts. What we are asking in lieu of gifts is that you make a donation towards our future child fund, should you choose. While we don’t know as yet whether we will be able to have our own children, we’re open and looking at the possibility of being foster parents or adopting a child. Should any of the above options not be for us, we will be donating the funds to an organization of our choice that helps children. In short, we want to be able to impact children either directly or indirectly with what, should you choose, to bless us with at our wedding. We will have a card box at the reception. We will also accept Cash App:DrMelon, Paypal:mmodlin, Venmo:Matthew-Modlin-1.
Livestreaming—This will be the location to see our wedding live online. The website is: https://www.pureimagevideography.com/modlinwedding The password for the event is mj2023
Lodging—Please contact us as there will be options available on the campus for under $80 per night. In addition, there are other options for lodging in Thomasville, Lexington, Asheboro and Salisbury.
Flights—The closest airports are GSO, CLT and RDU, in that order.
Dress—This will be a semi-formal to formal wedding, so feel free to dress accordingly. Colors are borrowed from the gem pallet: deep blue, burgundy, and hunter/emerald green and accented with gold/silver.
Theme—Will be that of a winter wonderland.
